I thought this may be of use to all employers and jobseekers alike! Basically it’s a list of, as good as, all the job boards you’ll ever need to know in the UK to either find a job or fill a job.  Like EmployersJobs.com many of these job boards also cover Europe, US, Asia and Australia.

Finding your dream job is akin to finding your soul mate. If you feel you’re just not mingling with the right crowd of people to meet him/her - then naturally you change the groups you hang around with to find new prospects - using the network of people you are in contact with.  Therefore if you’ve been searching for that perfect job match but having no real success - then it’s time to re asses your strategy.

On the 20th of January this week Barack Hussein Obama II (born August 4, 1961) became the forty-fourth and current President of the United States. His presidency reminds us that 2009 is a year to be active in changing the way we approach our lives and each other.

In these times of uncertainty, of worry and distress - what better antidote is there than to hear and read about the possibility that a footballer could be on the verge of moving from one football club to another and will be receiving a reported £500,000 per week. Yes per week. Please don’t allow jealousy to over take your emotions at this point. We have to think about the people involved with this possible transfer.

For a job board to be effective and deliver the best results for you and your business, it must attract the most relevant jobseekers looking for jobs like yours and employers like you.

When considering a career change their are normal stress and anxiety points that play one ones decision. It’s possibly the most important decision someone can make as we need to consider those most affected by our motivations - our families, lifestyle, friends, finances and of course our competency in a new field.

We want to fill our job vacancies, quickly, and with the best candidates! It’s really that simple.  Why then is it that we have such problems finding the right job sites to advertise on?  Why even once we’ve made a decision do we still tend to  feel; unsure of whether we’ll get any applications, unsure if we will attract relevant applications - OR unsure if we are actually getting value for money!

With many around the world returning to work after their seasonal break - spirits are either in high gear or at an all time low as the year begins anew. With the lustre of Christmas and the hang overs of New years quickly fading away, it’s important to look at the year ahead with an all systems GO attitude.
