I think I'd put my money on wellness programs that don't advocate increased swearing. Early in my career I worked in TV News where swearing is very common. From my experience, higher levels of colorful language, while momentarily reducing stress, do little to boost productivity and in fact reduce morale and overall professionalism.

I've been interning for ova 3months for no money - with a small media company in cape town. My boss sayz i can only go onto a salary if i prove myself to the company and it shows in the profits. But for now he is only willing to pay me R500 a month if i keep working there. That's no even enough to cover my traveling costs.

Many of my articles and hard work appears on the work they do for clients for example design work for websites or product work for brochures. How do i get a proper salary from my boss without making him mad? Or should I take the experience and reference from there and try to find a job somewhere else?

As a recently returned to work mum - I'm extremely grateful for the amenities that allowed me the time off to have my beautiful baby boy.

I work for a fairly new company tho and must say that I can already see how the discrimination has taken hold since my maternity leave requirements were enforced (I was the first woman in the company to require time off with pay in order to give birth).

Of all the newly recruited workers in the 6 months I've been back - only 1 out of 9 is a woman, and she already has a family and is passed a child bearing age. Seems a bit odd.
