It’s possibly the most important decision someone can make as we need to consider those most affected by our motivations - our families, lifestyle, friends, finances and of course our competency in a new field.

However if after consideration you still feel highly motivated that you’ve found a career worth starting over and making sacrifices for, then half the battle is won as you’ll need to be VERY motivated to maintain the drive that takes.

The next step is to now convince an employer in your chosen field that you are able to not only make the career transition smoothly but will also provide an asset to their company or organisation once there. The easiest way to do this is to identify your transferrable skills and then use those to your best advantage.
